One of the most important pages on the Brit Oval Shop is the product details page. This page gives you further information about the product you are interested in. From here you can see the product in more detail, get further information about it, view the available sizes and of course add it to your basket.
Description - Most of the products on the site have a description detailing information about the product.
Product Image - All products on our site have a picture of them so you can see the product you wish to buy - most products also have a Zoom image too. This is a large image (it may take a minute to download on slower connections) that displays a larger, more detailed image of the product, allowing you to get a real feel for the quality and style.
Availability - Most of our items are ready for delivery from stock. Alternatively some of our items will have to be ordered specially via telephone ordering
Available Sizes - The sizes available for this item (if applicable) are listed - simply select the size of the item you require. Depending on the size chosen the price may change - this is normally due to the item being changed from a Childs size (which is charged at 0% VAT in the UK) to an adult's size or vice versa.
Add to Basket - Clicking this button performs the obvious task of adding the item to your basket. Before you do this make sure you have selected the appropriate size!

Purchasing your goods with us is designed to be simple, quick and secure. Before you order please ensure that:
When you are ready to buy, simply click the 'Pay Now' button on the product details page, or the 'Proceed to Checkout' button on the basket.
If you are a new Customer then you will taken through the order form in which you will be prompted to enter information such as your delivery address and name and your payment details. After this is completed you will be shown an order confirmation page and receive a confirmation email from us.
If you are an existing Customer then you will be asked to log in, if you have not done so already. If none of your details have changed then you will be asked for your credit card details. After this is completed you will be shown an order confirmation page and receive a confirmation email from us.
Please note that the order process of the Brit Oval is a secure connection. This means that all the personal information you enter will be encrypted so it cannot be read as it travels over the Internet. To find out more about this read the help file section on Security. Complete all the details required on this page carefully, ensuring that all the fields are completed fully. Then click the purchase button. Your order will then be confirmed, and all you have to do then is sit back and wait for the goods to be delivered!

To help our customers with their shopping experiences we have developed the 'My Account' section. This enables our registered users and past customers to enjoy a quick and easy shopping experience, and an exclusive range of features and benefits. However, you do not have to register with us if you only wish to browse the store, or add things to your basket - only if you decide to buy. When you purchase an item for the first time, your profile will be set up for you automatically.
Registering - When you first order a product from us, a profile is created from the information that you volunteer. This includes obvious details such as your home/billing address and your name. A more detailed list of the information that we store is listed below together with the reason that we ask for it.
Your name and surname - Please complete these fields with the details as requested.
Preferred Greeting - Complete with your preferred contact name or nickname. E.g. your first name might be James, but you preferred to be called by you nickname 'Jimmy'.
Address - We cannot deliver items without an address! Please complete your home address here. To make it easier, you can build your own address book with us, so when you come to place an order you do not have to use the address you have given here - your address book can hold as many addresses as you wish!
Your telephone and mobile telephone numbers - We require these so we can quickly contact you in the event of a query with any orders you make - or even to notify you of being a winner in our competitions! This number will not be passed on to any third party and we will only contact you if we really need to. These are optional - you do not have to leave them if you do not wish to do so.
Email address - This is important as it is used to log you in to the website. Please complete this field carefully checking it is correct. We can also keep you updated with special offers and news about the our website with this address.
Password - You will also be prompted to create a password, this should be between six and 12 characters and something you can easily remember, but that is not too obvious! It is recommended you make your password a mixture of letters and numbers for security purposes. Your password is case sensitive - this means the system will accept leisure, but not LEISURE or leiSURE as the same entry.
Repeat Visitors - Once you have purchased from us, every subsequent visit will mean personalised recommendation on certain items, relative to the products YOU like. We will welcome you by name to our store and hopefully give you a personalised service that is second to none. You will also notice that once you have logged in to the store, as long as you don't want to change any details, we will prompt you with your delivery address thus saving you time and effort. With regard to security you will still have to confirm a Credit Card number for payment, thus your account is secure and only you will be able to place orders.

When you have registered or have ordered an item from the Brit Oval Shop, a profile will have been created for you. The profile has many useful functions which are detailed below:
Personal Details - You can make amendments to this area as necessary, for example if you move house.
Password Settings - We recommend you change your password frequently - to do this, complete the boxes as required. You can also change your password hint questions and answers here.
Address Book - You can add additional addresses to your personal address book - this makes it easy if you wish to have presents sent directly to your friends or family.
Your Preferences - This section gives you the opportunity to opt in or out of receiving information from The Brit Oval Shop or our partners. We do not send out emails very often but they are usually full of not to be missed bargains and latest products!
Order History - This section gives you details of all your past and pending orders with The Brit Oval Shop. You can track your order from the moment you place your order, right through until the moment it has been dispatched!

Different Stock Availability - If you have selected items with different availability times then we will dispatch your order when all items are ready:
Dispatching of Orders - Although we try to get all our orders dispatched on the day of order, this may not always be possible, for the following reasons:
Pre-Orders - Products on Pre-Order or products that are not in stock at the time of ordering will dispatched in the period specified on the website
International Test / ODI / T20 & Domestic T20 Fixtures - Online orders may incur dealys during International Test / ODI / T20 & Domestic T20 Fixtures. Because of access restrictions to the Brit Oval ground dispatch dates may be affected. Please allow for additional delivery time during these key fixtures. Credit Card Checks - Sometimes we may need to make additional checks on your credit card which could delay your order.
Shirt Printing - Shirts requiring personalisation for example with additional name, numbering and badges added may take an extra three days before they are ready to be dispatched.
Items on Available Within - Occasionally if a particular product is in high demand we will need to re-order from our suppliers. If this is the case then the number of days that this process will take will be quoted on the product details page. For example "Available within 7 days":
Non-Shippable Addresses - For contractual reasons we are unable to deliver to certain locations around the world. If your country is not listed when you are entering a delivery or billing address, then we will not be able to accept your order to deliver at that address.
